Moon Check-In
What It Is
A weekly glance at the moon paired with personal reflection.
Why It Helps
Cyclical time (vs. linear productivity) was often stripped from our lives. Tracking the moon reconnects you to natural rhythms and normalizes that you, too, have phases—waxing, full, waning, dark.
What You Need
A view of the sky. If visibility is limited, a moon phase app works.
How to Do It
Once a week, look for the moon. Notice its phase. Ask yourself: Am I in a building phase (new/waxing), a peak (full), a releasing phase (waning), or a rest (dark moon)? What does my life need to honor that?
This Is Not Worship
It’s ecological awareness and self-reflection tied to observable natural cycles.
Variations
Journal moon phases alongside your menstrual cycle or energy levels, photograph it, or share observations with a friend.
